Weekend reflection

Went to church yesterday morning, and the Mass is all about love. well people know we are Christian by our Love anyway...:)...

1 Corinthians 13:1-13

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Ain't it sweet...I always remember and love 1 Corinthians 13:1-13. In short and simple words, it taught me thousand things.

Raising up in a big and loving families, i learn a lot about love. It never mean that we never hate, we never hurt or we never do any mistake to each other. But when there is love, even a bit, forgiveness will come afterward. We will forgive and forget, and remain in love with each other.

In a strange way, my beautiful family seldom shows love in hugs or in words. But we show it in our everyday life.

My grandma, my beautiful and sweet grandma. She will have us (me and my cousins) work in a paddy field and keep telling us, that if we did not do well in school, we will have to do it for the rest of our life. And yup, the paddy field work really killing me, and of course my cousins..ha ha..

It was hot, long hours and dirty. I keep telling myself everytime i had to go with her to the paddy field, that i will not do that for the rest of my life. i will graduate and have a work and become somebody.

Ha ha..it's funny tho, how my grandma shows her love to all her grandchild. I mean, to torture us in a hot paddy field just to make sure that all of us understand how important education is.

But yea, we all end up not working in a paddy field, but respected what the paddy field had taught us..Everyone has a different way to show love, just like my grandma did. I owe her so many things in life, especially LOVE.

And in the mass..i prayed for my late grandma and grandpa, may their soul rest in peace, and may Lord Jesus Christ bring the in his kingdom..Amen.
