Reclaiming Time: Embracing the Write Way Forward

Isn't it crazy how time just slips through our fingers? One moment we're making plans, and the next, it's a whole new month staring us in the face. But hey, that's life, right?

Lately, I've been doing some serious soul-searching. You know, the kind where you ask yourself the big questions. And one thing I've realized is how often I've used the excuse of being "too busy." But let's be real, is it really about being busy, or is it just a fancy way of saying I've been slacking? Procrastinating.

Well, no more of that for me. It's time to shake off the dust and get back to writing. And what better way to reconnect with my own self by sharing a piece of my world a few times a week?

So, here's the plan: I'm making a commitment to write three times a week. Short, sweet, and straight from the heart. (So help me God!)

Till tommorow!

Sabahan Attitude?

Everyday at around 7am in the morning I will ‘force’ myself go out from my apartment and go to work.  Morning, fresh air and too cramp road, 15 to 60 minutes to office, depending on the road traffics.

Everyday five days a week- I use the same road. Same lane most of the time. And sometimes saw the same car in front of me. Ya, im used with the daily morning life. But one thing that always makes me sick is the attitude of these people when it comes to cigarette.

Yes, those stinky little thing-and killer. But most of the road users having it between their fingers every morning. Breakfast? I don’t know. Maybe just like me need a coffee every morning, they need their cigarette. But what I regret the most is the way they will happily throw the cigarette butt out from their car window once they are done! That’s so irresponsible!

Walk along KK roads and you will find thousands of cigarette butt . A discarded cigarette butt.  Is this Sabahan attitude or it’s just what all smokers out there do? Throwing as they like after having all the smokes sucked into their lungs?

You see, I am not in a war with smokers. I am not. I just hate their attitude on road, throwing the cigarette butt out of the window – so rude! If they really need to suck all the smoke out of the cigarette, just keep the butt if you cannot swallow or chew it. But do not throw it as you like outside your car.

Remember, if you don’t like the cigarette butt inside your car, do you think the road-the earth want it?

Detox after Hari raya

Its a great weekend for Hari raya!

Me with my 2 girl friends went to ranau for the weekend gateway and had spent a splendid time away from the city.
the gorgeous Kinabalu..cold and cold :
went to Poring Hots Spring at 7am! The visitor really crazy during the weekend, so we decided to go as early as 7am. We manage to get 3 tab for each of us.

Not forgetting the beautiful Mesilau! The flowers , the grass and the air..hmmm..splendid!

On the way back to KK, we went for hot madras Coffee at Simpang Bundu tuhan. U need to climb to get to the cafe, and the view is awesome!

Now time for detox, after consume lots of rice, ketupat, rendang, curry, kuih raya...waw...Here are some lists to do detox, for those who have no idea :)

1. Eat plenty of fiber, including brown rice and organically-grown fresh fruits and vegetables. Beets, radishes, artichokes, cabbage, broccoli, spirulina, chlorella, and seaweed are excellent detoxifying foods.

2. Cleanse and protect the liver by taking herbs such as dandelion root, burdock and milk thistle, and drinking green tea.

3. Take vitamin C, which helps the body produce glutathione, a liver compound that drives away toxins.

4. Drink at least 2 quarts of water daily.

5. Breathe deeply to allow oxygen to circulate more completely through your system.

6. Transform stress by emphasizing positive emotions.

7. Practice hydrotherapy by taking a very hot shower for five minutes, allowing the water to run on your back. Follow with cold water for 30 seconds. Do this three times, and then get into bed for 30 minutes.

8. Sweat in a sauna so your body can eliminate wastes through perspiration.

9. Dry-brush your skin or try detoxifying patches or detox foot spas / foot baths to remove toxins through your pores. Special brushes are available at natural products stores.

10. What is the most important way to detoxify? "Exercise," says Bennett. "Yoga or jump-roping are good. One hour every day." Also try qigong, a martial-arts based exercise system that includes exercises specifically for detoxifying or cleansing, as well as many other exercises with specific health benefits.

I have started today, and will end this Sunday! For a healthy body, why not?

SABAH-The land that ours

Been off from blogging for 2 weeks, due to lots of outside activities that takes lots of my time , he he..Not because i'm buzy with books or works, which im proudly say, I AM NOT. well lots to do, but i had learn that its not the task that makes us sort of 'busy', but because our failure to manage our time. So yep, i have tons of work to do, yet i still have time to hang out with the girls, shopping, jogging, lepaking and stuffs :) . So i consider myself as IMPROVED in managing my time..he he

,,I just spent my wonderful holiday at kampung for merdeka holiday and it really good!
..and i also had finish reading EAT PRAY LOVE..

it feel exciting to spend days at kampung!

I love my land..and it really makes me sad to hear someone selling their land, in exchange for money. well, i am not saying that money is not important, but is it the only way? How about long term plan, how about working hard, how about be creative? How i wish i could have millions of money to buy those land, and not to have to go to the outsiders. Again, i love my land.

There'a a story from a business man back in KL, he said: "Sabahan people is stupid. They sells their land for rm90K, happily smiling to get their money. Guess what...i buy the land, and sell it for 500K. That's an easy money!"

Somehow, i think, we local takes things for granted. And i hate to admit that.  But that's what we are. And it's even funny to hear that some sells the land to have a beautiful wedding? oh my! Are we local...crazy?

..i don't know, and i am sad..I pray that one day the next generation won't have to build 1000storeys apartments : they don't have enough land to stay...because my generation had sold it to outsiders!

we are so pathetic ain't we?

When In Rome..eh Sabah :)

I keep on reminding myself that i haven't even reach 1 month stying here and Do Not conclude anything yet! ha ha..but yea, i love describing everything around me..what i think and what i see..

What i really hate it here is the pedestrian ! okay, not ALL of them, but those who always give me heart attack! i don't get it, that MOST of the pedestrian will just crossing the road without any warning, and well out of nowhere...i will have to do my emergency break every time! I don’t understand why, they just don't want to be careful, i mean just please do not do that! Don't just suddenly crossing the road, like as if, you’re not there-driving through! urgh!

Where i stay, is a brand new apartment with a very urban style design. With those fantastic mirror wall for the units and so on..But guess what, my neighbor downstairs, put all his family's shoes, slipper and so on, on the stairs, which we have to use everyday to go to our unit! They should think of other people safely, what is someone is carrying things to go up, and suddenly stepped on those shoes? hissss...i am so very marah! They should just buy camping equipment and put a camping zone outside the unit!

Oh i do not mean i hate Sabah ah..no no no....i love Sabah.. I was just mentioning on some situation that i hate it here..well it can be happen to anyone anywhere also bah.. :)

But when you are in your land, you will feel welcome everywhere you go. Understand each other jokes and stories. i heart Sabah!

Sabah is a blessed place

It had been a while since i really browse my facebook. Just update anything via twitter (which is linked to my facebook account). Hmm yea, i am not a fan of facebook, haven't even play any of the games inside, and, yea, i spend like 5 min browsing my facebook everytime i think of it..Ha ha..

Life had changed slowly now, and i am full with determination! Its a big thing that i pack my stuffs, and move to sabah, and i am not going to waste any of it. I know the reason i go back, and i should achieve it slowly, slow and steady :D..

Lots of oppurturnities here...A LOT..Maybe people just take it for granted on everything, and they did not see lots of big things is actually going on at Sabah. Not going to elaborate more here  but, yes, .I come back for good, and for the good..ha ha..

It always hard to make the first move, but noone will gain anything if you always cling to someone to live. And you know you can't make any change if you keep on doing it, not going to go out from the comfort zone, stay where you are and hope miracle can happen...ah..hahaha...i am just trying to motivate myself..

gotta go...
