Kitchen cleaning tips-my fav :)

Being the eldest daughter, i need to learn a lot of things on how to help my mom to do house work. Cleaning, laundry, babysit and some cooking. Well, my mom usually do the cooking, but usually i will be the one who have to clean the kitchen.

Hmm i think i learn how to cook when i was 11 ( I just wonder why my mom didn't buy fire extinguishers just to make sure i din't burn the whole kitchen!), and i learn how to take care of my younger sisters since i was 5..Urgh its really tough job being the eldest sister! he he..

Okay, there's some kitchen cleaning tips i learn from my mom and some from others, and sharing is caring people :)

1. To clean your microwave oven, mix together 2 Tbsp. of lemon juice or vinegar and 2 cups of water in a 4 cup glass microwave safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH for two to three minutes. Carefully remove the bowl and wipe the microwave with paper towels. Repeat as necessary.

2.To clean a blender, squirt a few drops of liquid soap into it, fill halfway with warm water, cover and blend away the mess. Rinse and repeat if necessary. You can also use this method for food processors.

3.Dry baking soda cleans chrome perfectly.

4.Once every 7-10 days, remove all the food from your refrigerator, wipe down the inside with warm soapy water, clean all the shelves and trays, then replace the food. As you work, check expiration dates and discard food past those dates. Place an open box of baking soda in the back of the fridge.

5.If plastic from the bread wrapper melts onto your toaster, use a little nail polish remover to get it off. Let the toaster cool before you try this.

He he..yep there you go...some tipsy on cleaning the kitchen. But personally, i really feel its important to clean the stove everytime you use it, because i hate to see lots of oils and food on the stove..disgusting!
