Being 30

Being 30 in 2 months plus now and i'm already feel the stress ha ha. I'm no longer so called women-in-their-20s but move a level up :).

When i was in my 20s weekend means go outing having fun with my friends. Thinking which movies haven't watch, do my hair do my nails.  And after work will waste with hanging out with friends at some cafe.

Now weekend is about planning and executing. Trying to squeeze all the time i have to get more info, knowledge and money :D. Movie day turned to seminars, classes or reading some investment book. Haha. Well looking at the amount of saving in my account , it won't survived me long enough, and im already 30! 

But of course i will always have time for myself, well i have to reward myself for all the hard work i did hehe. Like going for a cruise this weekend, oh i so can't wait! :)

Weekend with Web Directory

How would you feel to spend your great weekend with Web Directory? Exciting for me! Yea, i have been working with my blogs past 2 days, trying to put more traffic to it and re-design my blogs.

Web directory is like a list of all websites, and you can easily search any website by category. For someone like me, who loves to see more and more people to visit my website, i will put my website in the web directory list, and i did actually. I place one of my blog at Max Directory , just to check if it really true, that a web directory can drive more traffic to my website. Well no harm trying people.

There are a lot of free web directory out there for us to check on them. As far as i concern, it really worth for us to place our website in a directory, so that we give more chance for our blog to be searched by visitors. Keywords alone won’t give 100% guarantees to make sure our website searchable, but we ourselves need to put our website where other people can reach them easily.

To keep it simple, its like a Yellow Pages for a websites, where people refer to it when they want to search for something. Oh especially business, like what i found at Business.Com .

I was really amazed on how much i was spending my weekend to understand about web directory! Not bad at all!

Almost every blogger today enjoys their paid from advertising or affiliate program, which is sometimes can make blogger smiling in sleep to know they are being paid while sleeping!

To join affiliate program, affiliates will act as a middle person to help promoting, sells and drive traffic to the affiliate program's website. Each successful sale or clicks or leads will be paid, based on the agreeable commission. Blogger just have to place their ads in their blog, or write something about the website, put a text link on the website and they will be paid. Well, as it read, it is as simple as that. That’s why most bloggers enjoy their ‘free pay’ from affiliate program.

There’s a few ways to get paid by affiliate program: per click, per sale or per lead. Each commission will be paid differently. Almost every blogger nowadays trying their best to earn money by blogging. But the question is do blogging really gives blogger secure income?

With more than 20 million blogs online, there's no question that people enjoy sharing their thoughts in published form. But a new report suggests that nearly a half-million people blog as their primary source of income. Are people really making that kind of money blogging?

"I haven't met them," said Andrew Eklund, CEO of Ciceron, a Minneapolis Web Marketing firm. "I mean you could go swing a 2x4 in front of this building and hit a blogger. But one that has change in their pocket?"

Maybe if blogging is our hobby, why not earn something from it rite :) ? At least we can buy something we love maybe for mother's day? Who knows...
