No juicing during pregnancy?

Yes of course you can!

 During my first trimester i have a very very i mean very bad all day sickness. I lost 5kgs just in 3 months. I would be so happy loosing weight if i'm not pregnant :D .

I really need to get all the nutrient i can get for my baby, but i can't barely eat anything. So i decided to drink lot and lots of juice to gain nutrient. Of course with meal too. During pregnancy you cannot do juice diet! No no and no. Detoxing by juice diet will harm your baby, since you will flush the toxin through your bloodstream and end up you pump it to your baby. So again NO, drink juice but eat your meal.

Here is one juice that i really love.

Ingredients:
1. Cucumber
2. Carrot
3. Celery

Blend it all together and drink immediately. It's yummy!

Sabahan Attitude?

Everyday at around 7am in the morning I will ‘force’ myself go out from my apartment and go to work.  Morning, fresh air and too cramp road, 15 to 60 minutes to office, depending on the road traffics.

Everyday five days a week- I use the same road. Same lane most of the time. And sometimes saw the same car in front of me. Ya, im used with the daily morning life. But one thing that always makes me sick is the attitude of these people when it comes to cigarette. 

Yes, those stinky little thing-and killer. But most of the road users having it between their fingers every morning. Breakfast? I don’t know. Maybe just like me need a coffee every morning, they need their cigarette. But what I regret the most is the way they will happily throw the cigarette butt out from their car window once they are done! That’s so irresponsible!

 Walk along KK roads and you will find thousands of cigarette butt . A discarded cigarette butt.  Is this Sabahan attitude or it’s just what all smokers out there do? Throwing as they like after having all the smokes sucked into their lungs?

You see, I am not in a war with smokers. I am not. I just hate their attitude on road, throwing the cigarette butt out of the window – so rude! If they really need to suck all the smoke out of the cigarette, just keep the butt if you cannot swallow or chew it. But do not throw it as you like outside your car. 

Remember, if you don’t like the cigarette butt inside your car, do you think the road-the earth want it?

30 Days Blogging Challenge

New year..

I challenge myself to blog everyday for 30 days...I've been blogging for almost 6 years, and i know how hard it is to blog everyday..Well, to make life a bit fun, lets do it! :)

2011 is all about living healthy physically and mentally. So yea, start to do my run everyday is one of the goal.Maybe i will start with 4 times a week, for 2 weeks, then will do it everyday after that. Few years back, i love running. Every morning i must wake up and do it..Mostly because i was in hockey team and i have to do it..ha ha..and day by day it become habit. But after start working and stuffs, it totally forgotten. And so yea, 2011 is the time to do it again!

How do you wake up every morning  and start running? Not that easy, i need a very strong mental to leave my bed :). My routine will be based on 30minutes Daily jog which i will tell in detail on my next post. Ah, i still have 29 more posts to go anyway hehe..

Ok people, off for now, i have 2 appointments with clients today, and laundry to do..Wish me luck :)

To understand Migraine

I am one of the unfortunate one to have a migraine...and it killing me when it attack. It doesn't tell you when, never warn and its sooooo painful. For me it can last in 15 minutes, hours or days..Trust me, its really painful..it is often preceded or accompanied by sensory warning signs such as flashes of light, blind spots, tingling in the arms and legs, nausea, vomiting, and increased sensitivity to light and sound. Yes, i will need DARK and SOUNDLESS room when it attack.

So people, when you have migraine, please avoid this potential trigger:

  • Allergies and allergic reactions
  • Bright lights, loud noises, and certain odors or perfumes
  • Physical or emotional stress
  • Changes in sleep patterns or irregular sleep
  • Smoking or exposure to smoke
  • Skipping meals or fasting
  • Alcohol
  • Menstrual cycle fluctuations, birth control pills, hormone fluctuations during menopause onset
  • Tension headaches
  • Foods containing tyramine (red wine, aged cheese, smoked fish, chicken livers, figs, and some beans), monosodium glutamate (MSG), or nitrates (like bacon, hot dogs, and salami)
  • Other foods such as chocolate, nuts, peanut butter, avocado, banana, citrus, onions, dairy products, and fermented or pickled foods. 

For the food, avoiding is not like you don't take it at all, but it hmm maybe yea, keep it slow :)..

Detox after Hari raya

Its a great weekend for Hari raya!

Me with my 2 girl friends went to ranau for the weekend gateway and had spent a splendid time away from the city.
the gorgeous Kinabalu..cold and cold :
went to Poring Hots Spring at 7am! The visitor really crazy during the weekend, so we decided to go as early as 7am. We manage to get 3 tab for each of us.

Not forgetting the beautiful Mesilau! The flowers , the grass and the air..hmmm..splendid!

On the way back to KK, we went for hot madras Coffee at Simpang Bundu tuhan. U need to climb to get to the cafe, and the view is awesome!

Now time for detox, after consume lots of rice, ketupat, rendang, curry, kuih raya...waw...Here are some lists to do detox, for those who have no idea :)

1. Eat plenty of fiber, including brown rice and organically-grown fresh fruits and vegetables. Beets, radishes, artichokes, cabbage, broccoli, spirulina, chlorella, and seaweed are excellent detoxifying foods.

2. Cleanse and protect the liver by taking herbs such as dandelion root, burdock and milk thistle, and drinking green tea.

3. Take vitamin C, which helps the body produce glutathione, a liver compound that drives away toxins.

4. Drink at least 2 quarts of water daily.

5. Breathe deeply to allow oxygen to circulate more completely through your system.

6. Transform stress by emphasizing positive emotions.

7. Practice hydrotherapy by taking a very hot shower for five minutes, allowing the water to run on your back. Follow with cold water for 30 seconds. Do this three times, and then get into bed for 30 minutes.

8. Sweat in a sauna so your body can eliminate wastes through perspiration.

9. Dry-brush your skin or try detoxifying patches or detox foot spas / foot baths to remove toxins through your pores. Special brushes are available at natural products stores.

10. What is the most important way to detoxify? "Exercise," says Bennett. "Yoga or jump-roping are good. One hour every day." Also try qigong, a martial-arts based exercise system that includes exercises specifically for detoxifying or cleansing, as well as many other exercises with specific health benefits.


I have started today, and will end this Sunday! For a healthy body, why not?

H1N1 Getting worst in malaysia..

To all of you dearest people, as we all can see, H1N1 getting worst in Malaysia.

Please be extra careful. Please avoid crowded places and frequently wash your hands. The virus can stay in the surface and air up until 8 hours!! Thats the main reason why we dont go in crowded places, cuz we dont know the health status of everyone there..

Imagine if this person cough and spread all the virus in the air..And it stays there for 8 hours...Hmmm..

Please don't take it simple people, when you saw the victim of H1N1 reportedly 'cured'..Do they really cured in a sense of not getting any other infection?How about the rest of H2N2, H3N4 and the list goes on...

This is a very good article you should read...Are we ignoring H2N3?


Its a very nasty pandemic now in Malaysia, and still, we just sometimes ignore it...

Just dont let any of us regret in future...
