As the title is ...please..read before you do!

Its boring i know, but wait until you get stuck on what you do then only you will realize how easy if only you take a time and read first..ha ha..

I love editing my website and blogs. people suggest i use wordpress, and yep i use wordpress. At first, i am totally lost on how to control it. I have no idea where's the setting, what it can do, even how to do a post!

But i take time and read. Yep, i am no expert, but, yea, now i could say i know how to handle wordpress. Oh thei is a great article if you love to learn about web designing on wordpress.

It will describe in detail about wordpress, how it works, and how it help you with your blog or website. It will help you. Oh don't worry to add the bonus, the article will also give tips on how to choose a good template for your wordpress site!

Twitter and Digital Signage..

Yea, i am actually now trying to do something to incorporate our Digital Signage Network with Twitter...

I think its cool, when people can read updates instantly , i mean an interesting stuffs via Twitter, and displayed right tru our our Digital Signage screens..

Hmm..How much time will i need to do a research on this..Ah! Another assignment, costing?Any advice?

Operating System?

Well finally i actually keep a journal about my working thingy, where i place all the thing that i need to refer in my everyday task. Its indeed saving lots of my time to google it all over again, or search the bookmark that i always forget what i named it :)..

Always and forever :)...When i giving a technical presentation about our system, usually people will ALWAYS ask what is LINUX (since our System is using LINUX), why use LINUX, whats the different of using LINUX instead of Window?

And worst, when i started to say 'our OS platform is using LINUX'...There will be an interruption..'What is OS?'...

Yea, people comes from different background, where our knowledge is more to certain field. I did not expect everyone to know what is OS, or what is LINUX or even what is Cat5 cable..Cuz for me it might be my everyday 'meal' but for those in different field, it might sound weird..Same like when doctors or farmer, use a term that i never heard before, i will give the same reaction like them ..:)

I was struggling doing my company website for the past 2 months. It really takes a lot of my time as i am the only one developing it, with more than a dozen to critics! Huh, luckily i got my designer to design it, and i was just do the coding and all..

It took me so long to finish even 1 page, as i am not doing the website development alone. Its like a ‘part time ’ task, yet has strict due. .When i was just about to start doing it in the office, millions of other things will suddenly being threw on my desk, with a note: URGENT or HIGH PRIORITY. Or 2 minutes notice on meeting a client. It really makes things really hard to complete as i had scheduled.

As me and the designer have limited time to discuss and meet, all our task usually will be put in our server. But i can only start doing my website when i am at home. And as the designer is actually doing his master degree, he usually go back early for a class a few days a week. So in summary we always have to work separately.

Finally i install TeamViewer in my server, as well as both me and the designer laptop, so we can work anywhere anytime, yet still can access our office server. And of course it does really make my life easier. I don’t have to download or save everything into my laptop anymore.

TeamViewer is an open source software to establishes connections to any PC or server all around the world within just a few seconds. You can remote control your partner's PC as if you were sitting right in front of it.
Well its a great freeware software to take control on other PC. We can browse everything inside the PC,or view on what the other person is viewing on his/her PC as long as we already install it to that PC, and get the ID for it, and we just connect using that ID.

In my other project, i use OpenVPN to remote viewing all my projects and server, even each screen. But its quite complicated thingy, as it need to generate certificate, and setting up the ip and all. Its more secure for a big project, yet too complicated for just basic use.

Yea, Digital Signage is my life. I have been in the industry for almost 3 years now, and well, its quite interesting challenging, and new stuffs everyday. Working life is tough, but once i close a deal, a total satisfaction, the greatest feeling ever!

What is actually a Digital Signage?

In short, it refers to electronically controlled signs that you can update on-the-fly, without having to touch the physical sign itself. You can change the content quickly and inexpensively, and deliver targeted messages to hundreds or thousands of displays at once.

In Malaysia, sad but true, it’s a very new technology, and people tends to be so AFRAID of this technology. When i meet clients to propose the technology favourite question is : ‘Who is using this technology now in Malaysia?’

Lots of interesting idea on Digital Signage technology. What i am very interested of is the 3D Holograms and Holographic. I really want to bring this technology in Malaysia, but the investment damn expensive and Malaysian still VERY AFRAID to invest on this.

I have a small team to set up our flag and trying to conquer Malaysia with our Digital Signage. We are like 100 in 1.We do everything and have to know everything(from programming to networking to LCD technology, and all) and we cant do any mistake..Well its kind of hard for me to be the only She (in technical team), but luckily i could say i have a very good team.

We will start with of course Planning, scheduling and paperwork, which usually will be done by me, man sometimes not really good in this field..haha..opssss! Then the guys will be travelling here and there to meet my planning requirements, as scheduled, perfectly. They have to bear with me making noise when sometimes my requirement is not being perfectly done. .hehe, im the cranky teammate when it come to perfection!

Yeah, i always complaining on my hectic life. But its actually makes me feel satisfied in my life, and learn a lot on my journey. You see, the knowledge it gained by experiences not books. Thats how i appreciate my tears, my tensions and my sleepless days. Maybe it makes me the person i am now.

I am a girl who talk about wiring, cabling, networking, systems, and stuffs. When it comes to those arrogant so called experienced-Male-engineer they will laugh at me, thinking that they knows everything and i knows only about girly thingy. They will give me this ‘shut-up-you-know-nothing’ look when i started to debate on their opinion. But hey, i know my stuffs, try me.

Yep, so that it is, my busy duvy working days..My Digital Signage and life..A life itself..:)
